Acceptance of custom orders Terms and conditions. Culture Studio stands behind the quality of the work we produce. Our goal is to reproduce your graphic onto the garment substrate with maximum accuracy, quality, and consistency. Because the total satisfaction of the end user with the final decorated product is ultimately subjective, we offer several layers of approval including a digital mock-up and high res photo approval by request. Culture Studio operates under strict quality controls and documented guidelines to ensure a quality finished product, we will not be held responsible for end-user subjectivity. In responding approved to the order email and the digital mock-up the user is acknowledging that they understand the risks of making custom merchandise and by accepting will be compensating CS in full for the work done contrary to a subjective view of quality.
The total price listed at checkout, garments, and estimated ship date are all subject to change when ordering with the Online Design Tool. Once the order is placed, it is reviewed by an Account Manager that may need to adjust details based on decoration, inventory stock, and production capacity.
Culture Studio recognizes revenue once the entire purchase order has been fulfilled and the items have been sealed and boxed. If for any reason the shipment is requested to be held on the dock a storage fee of 5.00 per pallet per month will be billed separately.
In the most purest form, vector art is art made up of points, lines and curves that are represented by mathematical equations as opposed to mapped pixels like in a raster or bitmap file. Vector art is resolution independent, which means that it can be scaled to any size and still retain its sharpness and detail without loss in quality.
Our largest print area is 20 x 28, and we can print in multiple positions for more coverage. We have the capability of all over printing as long as there is no aligning of the different positions.
Many of today's t-shirt designs have a vintage or soft-hand feel. Discharge printing feels as if it's embedded and part of the fabric unlike regular, plastisol printing that has a plastic or vinyl feel to it. Discharge ink is also much harder to control than plastisol printing, and it requires special steps to be taken to make sure production runs smoothly. Our operators are all experienced in solving these issues and limiting down time. Though discharge ink's transparent nature helps it attain a soft hand, it limits its usefulness on dark, colored garments.
The easiest way to submit orders is via Tech Pack. You can download our Culture Studio's Tech Pack as well as order request forms and then email the order to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also submit orders through our Upload section under the artwork guidelines button.

The general rule of thumb is that any image printed on a dark substrate will require an underbase for proper image opacity. If you have any guideline_heading as to whether or not your graphics will require an under base, contact Culture Studio, we will be happy to review your graphics.
Yes, Culture Studio utilizes state of the art automated folding and bagging equipment. We stock a range of poly bag sizes to accommodate most garment types. Our standard poly bags are imprinted with an “eight language” warning label. Size stickers are adhered to the exterior of each bag.
Culture Studio does offer re-labeling services, however we feel that it is more efficient and cost effective to have re-labeling services performed by your distributor/manufacturer.
Culture Studio does not offer digital garment printing. Our extensive research has concluded that the available equipment on the market today does not meet our standards in imprint consistency nor our production demands and does not provide cost effectiveness to our clients.
Culture Studio no longer utilizes the 4-color printing process. Instead, we use the modern Simulated Process method to produce stunning full color images on both light and dark garments. The simulated process method delivers color accuracy, clarity, opacity, and consistency beyond the typical results achieved through traditional 4-color process.
Culture Studio does not offer printing on headwear. We recommend embroidery as a method for decorating headwear.

Plastisol inks are innocuous when used with reasonable care. Culture Studio ethics and California State law require adherence to the highest standards of safe handling and safe disposal of plastisol inks. Plastisol ink contains no air-polluting solvents or volatile organic compounds. The manufacture, transportation, storage, use, and disposal of plastisol inks do not cause injury, illness, or environmental contamination as long as the appropriate safety and environmental protection procedures are followed. Most plastisol inks have a Health Rating of 1 (hazard - slight), a Flammability Rating of 1 (hazard - slight), a Reactivity Rating of 0 (hazard - minimal) and a Personal Protection Rating of B (wear safety glasses and gloves).

Art time charges are $65.00 per hour.
If the artwork changes each graphic will be treated as a separate order and priced independently. This allows our production team to clearly separate the 2 orders and ensure that the right graphic is placed on the corresponding garments.
