Spot Process

The most common type of screen printing. Spot colors can be Pantone matched using plastisol inks for specific color needs this type of ink allows for excellent coverage, opacity and durability.

HOW IT'S SEPARATED

When separating for spot color printing use Photoshop channels or Illustrator spot colors.

  • If using Illustrator please make sure that all attributes are complete vector and you are choosing a spot color for each.
  • If using Photoshop set each color to a spot channel.

All dark garments will require an under base so please add 1 color to any dark garment.

HOW ITS PRINTED

CULTURE STUDIO'S PERFECT UNDERBASE

This is a home mix using 2 different discharge bases. This Under Base is used on 100% cotton garments only. Allows you to print multiple colors on dark garments with out the worry of fibrillation and leaving a nice soft hand feel. Achieve brilliant bright color with out losing detail or the soft hand feel.

HELPFUL HINTS

Achieve very soft prints especially on light colored garments using soft hand plastisols that don't fade or lose brilliance.
